Pods For Single-Serve Coffee Makers
So it’s not surprising that the brand made 80 percent of single-serve coffee makers purchased by CR members recently. After Nespresso and Cuisinart, the two most popular brands among CR members, hold only 6 and 5 percent market share, respectively. According to our survey results, Keurig owners are delighted with their machines, which explains the high level of popularity they have achieved.
Pod machines are terrible brewers, despite their widespread use. All of them received a “Good” rating in our taste tests. And then we have to deal with pod issues. Cuisinart, DeLonghi, Farberware (including Keurig), KitchenAid (including Mr. Coffee), Starbucks (including Mr. Coffee), and Tru (including Mr. Coffee). Customer satisfaction is good or better at all but Bosch and Starbucks. Bosch receives a Fair amount of customer satisfaction, whereas Starbucks gets a low amount.
