    What Is The Difference Between RBI Office Attendant And NIACL AO Salary?

    Reserve Bank of India office attendant exams are held every 1-2 years to select office attendants for different RBI offices throughout India. RBI Office Attendant is a highly sought-after position that attracts many applicants. A written exam and a local language exam are used to choose RBI office attendants.

    The NIACL AO test is conducted by New India Assurance Company Limited (NIACL) to recruit appropriate applicants for the AO or administrative officer positions in several categories. The NIACL AO test is not on a yearly basis. NIACL issues a notification to organize a recruiting panel according to the company’s needs.

    What are the duties of a NIACL AO?

    The position of NIACL AO is divided into two categories: specialist AO and generalist AO.

    The Generalist AO is in charge of supervising the NIACL assistant or risk assessments and confirming risk proposals.

    NIACL AO is related to a variety of job responsibilities and duties. An NIACL AO or administrative officer is a lower-level officer who handles administrative and authoritative tasks. He or she is in charge of double-checking clauses, reviewing insurance policies, verifying risk proposals, settling insurance claims, and providing official returns.

    The NIACL AO’s tasks include resolving debts, managing financial bookkeeping, issuing bills to company clients, and assisting in formulating the company budget.

    What are the duties of an RBI office attendant?

    The RBI office attendant position is a clerical one. The job entails supporting officers with their everyday tasks, as well as managing documents and other crucial office affairs.

    The RBI office attendant’s primary responsibility is to help officers with office matters. Financial checks and invoices are cashed and transferred to various banks and departments via the office attendant.

    The job schedule of RBI Class IV staff is very hectic, as they must carry out the following responsibilities:

    • Keeping all files organized and in good order.
    • Opening and closing the office.
    • Transport official papers between RBI departments.
    • Keeping track of the entry and exit of documents and other files.
    • Making specific changes that ensure all the officer’s fundamental requirements are met and placed on their tables.
    • Complete a variety of tasks during the day.
    • Complete all tasks assigned by senior officials and much more.

    The salary difference between RBI office attendant and NIACL AO

    Candidates chosen for the NIACL AO 2021 get a variety of allowances, including house rent, transportation, dearness, city compensatory allowance, and so on, which regularly increase according to company policy.

    NIACL AO’s basic pay is Rs. 32,795/- per month. The pay scale will be “32,795 –1610(14) – 55335 – 1745(4) – 62315”, plus any other permissible allowances.As an employee, you will receive 14 such raises, and when your basic pay reaches Rs. 55,335/-, you will be entitled to Rs. 1,745/- raise for the next four years, until your salary reaches Rs. 62,315/-.

    An RBI office attendant’s basic salary is Rs. 10,940/- per month, based on a pay scale of “10940 – 380 (4) – 12460 – 440 (3) – 13780 – 520 (3) – 15340 – 690 (2) – 16720 – 860 (4) – 20160 – 1180 (1) – 23700”. Plus any other allowances that may be applicable from time to time, for example, house rent allowance, dearness allowance, grade allowance, and allowance for city compensatory service. Currently, the starting monthly gross remunerations for office attendants’ is Rs. 26,508/-. Office attendants who do not stay in the bank’s supplied housing will be eligible for a house rent allowance of 15% of their pay.
