Smoking cannabis concentrates, or dabs, is such a hot topic. Though the basic idea is pretty simple (take a heated nail and drop your concentrate onto it), there’s certainly not just one way to do it.
Several different components come together to make your dabbing experience worthwhile and enjoyable when it comes to smoking dabs. When you’re looking to buy a dab rig kit with torch, it is good to know what it would contain and how to use them. These pieces and parts include:
The Bucket/Recycler
This component of your smoking apparatus is where you will end up collecting all the wonderful flavors extracted from your concentrates. These water pipes, or recyclers as some people call them, are often much more elaborate in design than regular glass pipes because they have a certain function.
The Nail or Banger
Of course, you will need something actually to smoke the extracts off of, and this is where your nail comes into play. Several different kinds of nails exist for dabbing, but the most common of the bunch is titanium. It’s not too expensive, and it’s pretty durable.
Tube (or Showerhead)
The tube is where everything comes together and starts its downward journey into your lungs. The showerhead percs will remove some of the smoke from the tube before sending it into your lungs, giving you a nice clean hit every time.
Carb/Crack Pipe
To create an efficient vacuum action within your tube to get the most out of your smoking device, there needs to be a crack pipe attached to one end of it. When putting in the carb, find the side without too much glass before you smash it in, and you should be good to go.
Cleaning Brush
If you’re someone who wants to keep their rig clean and to work at all times, you’re going to want a cleaning brush of some sort. This way, you can give your nail or banger a quick scrub down after each use.
Ashcatcher (Optional)
If you don’t have an ash catcher, the only things that will be hitting your lungs while using a are dabs and some water. You can remove all of this by adding a simple little piece to the end of your tube.
Wand/Dabber (Optional)
Last but not least is Wand or Dabber, where you’re going to be depositing your concentrates for vaporization. These usually come in a long, thin metal stick with a dabber attached to it at one end.
Metal Rolling Tray (Optional)
If you want to have everything in one place when it’s time to load up your nail, consider picking up a simple metal rolling tray. Trays are often elevated on little feet, containing grip along the undersides of them. It is to prevent them from slipping from your hands while you’re trying to get the concentrate onto your dabber.
Blink Torch
If you want to be able to get your nails nice and hot, there is only one way to do it, and that’s with a good old-fashioned butane torch. You can pick these up at pretty much any hardware or department store for less than $20, so they are no big deal. Just make sure you have enough fuel in them before you leave the house.
These are all the components that you will find in a dab rig kit with a torch . You can make good use of all of them to enjoy your smoking experience to the fullest.
