Windows 10 is one of the secure and user-friendly operating systems. You can just hover and click with your mouse cursor and get the job done.
It is easy and even a person with little computer literacy can use a Windows machine which can be visible by the fact that 68.54% of the world uses Microsoft’s Windows operating system in their computer devices.
You can install an entire program without touching your keyboard, or easily check your IP details without even typing a single command in some command-line interface.
Running a Windows 10 setup on your machine is easy, you just need an empty USB drive with 16 GB minimum capacity. But if you have a 32 GB drive, better.

How to Run Windows 10 From a USB Drive?

Follow the steps to run Windows 10 on any machine from a USB drive.

    Creation of ISO File

Open your favorite browser and go to the Windows 10 website.
Under Create Windows 10 Installation Media, click on the option Download tool now.
    Open the downloaded executable file.
A window for Windows 10 setup will open. Click on the Accept button to proceed.
On the next window, choose the Create installation media (USB flash drive, DVD, or ISO file) for another PC option and click on Next.
Now select your preferred language, edition, and architecture (32 or 64 bit) and click Next.
Choose ISO file in the next window under Choose which media to use and click Next.
In the next step, choose a location on your computer and save the ISO file.

    Download WinToUSB

WinToUSB comes in three versions, Free, Professional, and Enterprise. You can complete the process by using the free version but upon installing Windows 10, you will only be able to install Windows 10 Home version.
    Download WinToUSB first.
    Click on the downloaded file.
Select language and click on OK.
On the next window, select I accept the agreement and click on Next.
Now follow the system-specific steps and install WinToUSB.
Insert an empty USB drive into your computer’s USB port.
    Launch WinToUSB on your computer.
On the right side of the Image File field, click on the folder icon.
Select the ISO file for Windows which you created earlier and click on Next.
In the next step, select the destination disk for your empty USB drive and select MBR for bios when the message pops up. Click on Yes and then click Next.
In the last step, check Legacy Mode in the Installation mode section and click Next.
Wait for the Installed Successfully message to display on your window to complete the process.
    Click on Exit.

    Wrapping it up!

Although there can be other ways to run Windows 10 from a USB drive, this one is far more plain and simple. You can try different methods using tools like EaseUS OS2GO or Rufus.
