How To Make Protein Cookies At Home?

Here are a few recipes that you can follow to easily make nutritious yet delicious home-made cookies at home:

  • Chocolate Oatmeal Cookies

To make some yummy chocolate oatmeal cookies you will need the following items:

  • 2 cups of rolled oats
  • 2 teaspoon of cinnamon powder
  • One teaspoon of stevia powder
  • 2 scoops of whey protein supplement in chocolate flavour
  • 100ml of cow milk/ almond milk ( anything that you prefer)
  • 7 to 8 roughly crushed cashews
  • 8 to 10 roughly crushed almonds
  • Two teaspoon of olive oil
  • Some dark chocolate chips
  • Half teaspoon each of baking powder and baking soda
  • A properly greased baking tray ( grease it with butter or olive oil/ can also use butter paper instead)

Firstly, crush the rolled oats in a mixing jar until it becomes fine powder. Now in a bowl put all the above mentioned ingredients and mix them properly to form a dough. Make sure your tough isn’t too tight or too loose. Take small portions of the dough in hand and flatten them in the shape of cookies. Place them carefully on the baking tray. Preheat your oven for 10 minutes at 180 degree centigrade and then place the tray inside the oven and bake for 30 minutes. Once done pull out the tray and let it cool for 10 to 15 minutes, store the cookies in an airtight container and have them anytime you wish. 

  • Dry Fruit Cookies

Dry fruits are not only yummy but are nutritious as well. Let us make some dry fruit protein rich cookies at home with these easily found ingredients:

  • 2 cups of finely crushed rolled oats powder
  • 8 to 10 roughly crushed cashew nuts
  • 10 to 12 roughly crushed almonds
  • 7 to 8 seedless and shredded dates
  • 10 to 12 roughly crushed pistas
  • 2 scoops of vanilla flavored whey protein powder
  • 1 tablespoon of powdered and dry roasted flax seeds
  • One cup of low fat milk
  • Two tablespoons of olive oil or butter
  • Half teaspoon each of baking powder and baking soda
  • A properly greased baking tray

You need to mix all the ingredients together just the same way you did to make the chocolate oatmeal cookies. Make small batches and place them on the baking tray and bake them for 30 to 40 minutes just the way we explained in the recipe above.
